Karl determined that they must have scaffolding to be efficient and safe, the method they had used the day before with ladder and support poles just would not work well. So they lined up all the scrap lumber from layout and knocked together a workable solution. The crew got rather enthused when they started to see the possiblities and began working off of it!

Project Update May 6 - fallen tree, scaffolding, mud
The day started with rain, again. Preparing pallets for shipping components for six churches to Santos (Espiritu Santo) took most of the morning. After a nooning, the crew loaded up and pulled out for Site #1, Beverly Hills. During the night a tree had fallen over the road a kilometer from the site. So, a little walking was involved. The worst part was hauling the heavy generator cross country.
