The components we believed were already unloaded and waiting in Tanna…… nope. The seas were rough enough that our freighter didn’t arrive until this morning.
Pastor Tomas (Tommy) had the One Day Church stuff all unloaded and stacked on an area between his home and the church, then came to get us as the airport. When we drove back from the airport, we passed the freighter, still unloading at the wharf, which looked like it was in the middle of nowhere. Not so, it is the “main” town, Lenekel.
There are some shops (look like the little “tiendas” you see in Mexico), and on Monday, Thursday PM and Fridays there is an open market for the gardeners to sell their produce. All except, this Thursday (remember, the holiday).
